Overview
Ultra Capacitor Backup Modules for Embedded Systems
TBP4xxx modules are extended temperature, maintenance free, high cycling capacitor based backup energy modules for embedded systems.
Combining a supercapacitor pack with a Tri-M smart charging power supply creates a complete, programmable, Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) in a PC/104 footprint.
The TBP4xxx is rugged, designed to withstand extreme temperatures and vibration, making it an ideal backup energy module for applications in hostile enviroments, especially those that have a large number of discharge cycles or where a "maintenance free" solution is required, such as remote and hard to access locations.
TBP4xxx Modules mate directly to the bottom of Tri-M's HESC, HPSC, V5SC, & V12SC smart power supplies.
Standard sizes are 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 joule capacities. Larger capacities are available on request.
