Ethernet to Serial Unit
- Programmable: Built on the uClinux embedded operating system, enabling the development of customized software. Free Software Development Kit available.
- Flexible: 2, 4 or 8 RS-232 or software selectable RS-232/422/485 ports with independent port configuration (data bits of 5, 6, 7 or 8; stop bits of 1, 1.5 or 2, with or without parity).
- Protocol options: Numerous application modes and protocols available, including Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) and Raw TCP.
- Easy to Use: Easy configuration over a serial interface or dynamically using Telnet with extensive subsystem administration capabilities with HTTP.
- Speed: Real data transfer speeds between 50 bps and 230.4 Kbps per port for 4 and 8 port RS-232 models, up to 460.8 Kbps for RS-422/485 and 2-port RS-232.
- Performance: Built around a ColdFire CPU featuring 16MB SDRAM, 2MB or 4MB Flash, quad UARTs and a Linux core.
