The RTC-1000 is the latest in Aaeon's line of fully-Rugged Tablet Computers. The RTC-1000 is certified for MIL-STD-810F and IP65 and built to withstand the water, dust, drops, vibration, shock, and extreme temperatures found in a variety of harsh conditions. The light weight and brawny workhorse is encased in a magnesium alloy case and is designed specifically to enable secure, reliable, mobile computing in challenging work environments such as construction sites, warehouses, and the oil patch.
The RTC-1000 has a feature-rich solution to address the needs of the growing rugged mobile computing market. It is powered by an Intel® Core™ Duo processor with amazingly low power consumption and wireless connectivity. Long battery life could serve 6~8 hrs working time to communicate online and run sophisticated software applications in the harshest work environments. Its ergonomic convenient size (10.6" x 7.2" x 2") and light weight (just over 4 lbs) enables to work everywhere and anywhere.
The RTC-1000 combines the features of resistance touch screen with Advanced Optibond Technology and digitizer (optional). Built in handwriting recognition, numeric keypad and programmable key functions provide an easily and durable selectable interface.
