The ONYX-175X/195X Diagnostic Medical Stations are based on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which delivers a performance improvement of more than 100 percent compared to systems running traditional single-core processors. With two cores the ONYX can simultaneously execute two computing tasks. It accommodates one 2.5" SATA hard disk drive and up to 2GB DDR SODIMM.
The ONYX-175X/195X comes equipped with an ATI E2400 MXM Graphic module for use in situations where higher graphic performance is needed. It comes with either a 17" or 19" 300 nits TFT display which both support a 1280 x 1024 resolution. These two models have built-in RFID and Smart Card Reader Security. Moreover, they have two isolated Gigabit LAN and four serial ports with built in safety features to control dedicated systems using a wide variety of applications.
The fabulous graphic accelerator integrated into the ONYX-175X/195X also makes the product excellent for image processing. Common applications include Surgical, Radiology, PACS (Picture Archiving Communication Systems), LIS (Lab Information Systems) and Electronic Medical Record.
