The AEC-6831 is an Embedded Control PC with Intel® Atom™ Processor. The Fanless design, anti-vibration (5g rms) and wide temperature tolerances (-15°C ~ 55°C) are the main features of the AEC-6831 allowing the system to be installed in a rugged applications in factory control, machine automation, test instrumentation, safety surveillance, and intelligent transportation.
The AEC-6831 supports the Intel® AtomTM N270 processor with 1.6 GHz and DDRII SDRAM SODIMM system memory (up to 1GB). This model features two COM ports, two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, and four USB 2.0 ports allowing for communication with a diverse number of devices with a high transfer rate. In addition, one CompactFlash TM, and one SATA/IDE Hard Disk Drive (optional) is available for larger storage expansion. In addition, the AEC-6831 is equipped with a VGA, an Audio, and a DVI-I port making it ideal for moderate multimedia applications.
