End of Life Announcement
Description
msystems is announcing the End of Life (EOL) of mDOC H1 4Gb (512MB) and mDOC H1 8Gb (1GB) products. The affected products and their recommended replacements are described in Table 1.

Reason for EOL
The mDOC H1 device (with a 90 nm manufacturing process) is being discontinued due to the availability of an alternative product, mDOC H3, with more advanced technology (70 nm manufacturing process).
Schedule
Final order date: August 30th, 2006 Final shipment date: December 31st, 2006 Orders placed or scheduled until the final order date are classified as Non-Cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR). Due to material availability, orders significantly higher than forecast or historical run rate may not be accepted.
Compatibility Issues
The recommended replacement, mDOC H3 4Gb/8Gb 12x18mm FBGA devices are ball to ball compatible with mDOC H1 4Gb/8Gb 12x18mm FBGA devices that are being discontinued. It is necessary to upgrade software based on TrueFFS 6.3.x to TrueFFS 7.1.x and above when upgrading to mDOC H3.
